You see, the average network marketer will spend more time researching a cell phone plan or a computer purchase than they will the network marketing company or success systems they join.

Become devoted to your success.

Don’t kid yourself. No one has as much interest in your success as you do. Unless you take it seriously (and most simply don’t) you might as well give up here. And this isn’t about mindless positive thinking or just believing in what you want and it will happen as if by some cosmic magic. It’s about believing in your ability to learn and grow. Which leads us right to…

Figure out what needs to be done, and then do that.

Simple enough, but actually quite hard if you are floating in a sea filled with misinformation and charlatans. Having honest, market tested advice – with real statistics and facts – isn’t that easy to come by. After all, if you had the facts – the real truth, you would be successful already.

If they did, you would know to ask the next logical question…

“How do I help this company make a profit?”

Again, the answer is so simple a third grader can understand it: customers.

The problem is that getting customers takes skill. And I’m glad it does, because if it didn’t network marketing would clearly be a scam.

Think about that for a moment.

If a website or a little social networking could really cause a flood of interested prospects to join and purchase products on their own, why would any company need you?

After all doesn’t the company have talented staff? Don’t they have more resources and experience?

If anyone can do it, why would it be worth more than a minimum wage job?

It’s obvious that there is something more…

The good news is that network marketing is a real opportunity precisely because it takes skill. And because it takes skill not everyone will do it. Many are just too lazy or preoccupied with other things to buckle down and make it happen.

Or maybe they just haven’t had a trustworthy source for real information.
